Home to one of Iowa’s largest car shows, this spectacular event is a sight to see! The Applefest Car and Motorcycle Show attracts 350 to 400 different makes and models every year. Each year they open their doors for the festival goers to explore the school and the passion that they share for history and geneology. This society has come to be an important feature of Applefest. Since 1991, having been moved into Woodbine from its country location, Merry Brook School has been the home of the Harrison County Genelogical Society. Take a selfie in a helicopter? Starting at noon, stop by for an adult beverage at the beer garden sponsored by Good Fellows Restaurant. Either choice is a wonderful way to top off an unforgettable day at the Woodbine Applefest.
